THE CLUB DE MONTE-CARLO HAS ADMITTED THE PRESIDENT OF PPCP TOMÁŠ MÁDL INTO THEIR RANKS
The Club de Monte-Carlo de l’Elite de la Philatélie (CMC) is the most prestigious community in the world of philately.
It has only 100 members – institutions and personalities of the greatest significance and influence.
The members include Queen Elizabeth II, Albert II, Prince of Monaco, world museums headed by the NPM – Smithsonian Institution and other prominent collectors, mostly owners of classical rarities and often at the same time prominent auctioneers or experts, e.g. G. Eubanks, D. Feldman, A. Bolaffi, P. Buschbayew, G. Craveri, J. Hackmey.
The admission of Dr. Mádl to the CMC was preceded by an approx. 6-month introduction and admission procedure by the CMC management.
Dr. Mádl is known as the holder of two Large Gold Medals from the World Exhibitions for his collection of Czechoslovakia 1918-1939, at the same time he proved the ownership of important rarities of the world classics, which are priority for the CMC and of course he also manages our Prestige Philately Club Prague, which aroused an unexpected interest of philatelic elites abroad.
Thanks to his overall significance and presentation, Dr. Mádl has achieved right away three recommendations from existing members of the Club de Monte-Carlo. These recommendations, which were crucial in the admission process, were sent to the Board of CMC by David Feldman – the legend of world philately and the auction market, Helmuth Avi – famous collector and expert on Italy, as well as Claes Arnrup – CMC’s First Vice-President and owner of many classic rarities.
T. Mádl, as a member of the Club de Monte-Carlo, is among the world philatelic elite the only representative not only from the Czech Republic but also from the whole of Eastern Europe. His admission means also strengthening of the international importance of the Prestige Philately Club Prague, which is the proof of the world class of Czech philately.
