Dubai exhibition

Mr. Vít Vaníček, the PPCP founding member, was awarded with the LG medial at the Emirates 2022 World Stamp Exhibition for his exhibit “Postal History of the Czech Lands from Beginning until 1867”. This exhibit was together with the American exhibit of Mr. Sandeep Jaiswal on the British India postal stationary nominated for the Best International Exhibit award (Grand Prix International). The jury election decided about the Czech exhibitor´s win. Also the other Czech exhibitors were at the top of their exhibition classes and we can therefore clearly state, that the Czech philately belonged to the most successful participants of the Emirates 2022 exhibition.

The Emirates 2022 exhibition was the very first international stamp exhibition organized in Dubai. It was executed from Jan. 19 to Jan. 23, 2022 with participation of the 27 countries of all five continents. The exhibition´s venue was the EXPO 2020 facility of Dubai making the philatelic exhibition one of the events accompanying the EXPO 2020 World´ s Exhibition.
